The Philippines is one of the world’s major banana-producing nations, and bananas occupy a pivotal position within the local agricultural economy. Recognizing the significant growth potential of the banana industry, a client from the Philippines decided to venture into the field of deep processing. His objective was to process bananas into banana flour—thereby upgrading his product line and boosting profitability. However, as this marked his first foray into the deep-processing sector, he exercised extreme caution when selecting the necessary equipment. He sought to adopt a “small-scale, low-risk” approach, intending to explore the market gradually.
Through our discussions with the client, we learned that their factory currently focuses primarily on the processing of raw agricultural products, and the space available for banana flour processing is relatively limited. Consequently, the client requested a solution that would occupy minimal floor space, be simple to operate, and involve a controllable investment. Based on these requirements, we designed a compact banana flour processing solution tailored to their needs.
The complete banana flour processing line primarily comprises core machinery such as a washing machine, slicer, dryer, and grinding. During the design phase, we specifically optimized the equipment layout to ensure a compact arrangement for the entire production line, thereby maximizing space efficiency. Furthermore, recognizing the client’s lack of prior experience in this field, we provided comprehensive technical support—including process guidance, equipment operation training, and recommendations for ongoing maintenance. This support was particularly crucial for a client entering the banana flour industry for the first time, and it significantly bolstered their confidence in the project.
